Bouju Bridge

The monkey bridge

Several cracks have appeared on the Bouju Bridge, where dense vegetation, typical of Asian jungles, is beginning to cover the stone. Soon, monkeys climb on the lianas and make the bridge their new playground. Continue to evolve in this shimmering world and let yourself be seduced by the Bouju Bridge dressed in light!

Fauna and flora : M2 | Agence événementielle en Normandie has concocted for you a magical stroll, with sound ambiences conducive to immersion. Animals escape from a medieval bestiary to find themselves on the various bridges and wash houses scattered along the Eure. The banks of the river, the bridges, the laundries and the collegiate church of Saint-André change in appearance and become the home of animals and trees from elsewhere, even from another time.

A little history

In the Middle Ages, the Bouju bridge was lined with houses on both sides. This stone structure was the main entrance to the medieval city and the access road to Chartres from the road to Paris.

At that time, a real market around the trades of the banks of the Eure had formed. Imagine the animation that reigned in these streets!
